    Suitable for all types of groups

    Yoga and Pilates are becoming increasingly popular tools amongst diverse organisations. Corporate businesses are leading the way with sporting organisations and schools following. Even aged care nursing homes are taking yoga seriously. These sessions can be constructed how you wish. For example: a course of 6 to 8 weeks; one off session; 2 hour workshop; weekly attendance. You can even book your own private weekend retreat. Generally most organisations prefer me to come to them. All we need is a suitable room.

  • WORKPLACE

    Yoga is wonderful for improving staff morale. With a degree in Human Resource Management I understand the importance of team building. Yoga can be a great tool for achieving this. By the end of just one session I have everyone in the room feeling stretched and relaxed. Teaching students how to use their current environment to stretch and revive can be fun and interesting. I'm well versed with the workplace environment and can make a difference within any industry.   • SCHOOLS

    Each year for the past 5 years I teach Cathedral school seniors as an extra-curricular subject; Shalom Christian College for their health week; and the ASC kids at Townsville central State School. Young people evidently have more stress to manage today and introducing yoga to them now can pay off later on in life. I teach coping mechanisms for stress such as breathing exercises - all taught in a way that's fun and useful. I engage them by starting with the body through yoga asana, progressing to breath, relaxation and meditation. When the body is free from pain and discomfort concentration is enhanced. Kids benefit greatly and yearn for the meditation side of yoga surprisingly.
  • SPORTING GROUPS

    Excellent for preventing injuries, enhancing performance and team building. More than just a class, I aim to educate and inspire as there is much to be understood about the relationship between flexibility, injury prevention and performance. Both Yoga and Pilates create the balance needed in the body by making weak muscles stronger and tight ones flexible. My goal for the program is to create a greater awareness of one's strengths and weaknesses, how to remedy it and have some fun along the way.
  • NURSING HOMES

    This would have to be my favourite class. I’m well versed with high care, currently teaching 80 to 100 year old high care patients. A consequence for many is compression of the lumbar spine, rounded shoulders, RSI, tightened hip flexors, neck and shoulder pain, aching backs and depression. The entire session can be done sitting in a chair. Currently I run a very successful program at Loreto nursing home, Pimlico. All high care and I just love them.
